Every 2-3 years Hikvision comes under the spotlight as they are a Chinese manufacturer!

I been using them from day 1 (ie over 6 years A-OK) mainly because they are VERY reliable, their app and recorder interface is YEARS ahead of anyone else, their technology (resolution, infrared and image quality is also YEARS ahead of anyone else, they offer a 3 year warranty, and finally because they are competitive. As a small service-oriented company using a reliable product is paramount!

FYI Last year one of my suppliers was bringing in 3 containers a month (and they are 1 of 4 in QLD). This month I checked stock levels for a popular camera model (not the most popular…. possible the 5 most popular) and was told by my supplier that they had over 2000 in stock! So yes the rest of the world is worried but, in my opinion, only because they cannot compete and have no idea how to!
